The reason for the inclusion of these levels is offering players stages with graphical improvements.
The additional stages will be accessible from the start and will not be needed to unlock them in order to play.
According to Ubisoft these stages aren't part of the main campaign and won't interfere with the player's progress.
In Rayman Legends there is also a soccer minigame where up to 5 people can play simultaneously on the Wii U.
The minigame is called Kung Foot and was created for developers to play inside the studio, but the idea was good and ended up becoming part of the game.
